Activities and Attractions in Blue Mountain

No matter the time of year or the weather, there is always a multitude of activities and attractions to visit in Collingwood and Blue Mountain.  This region is truly Ontario's playground.  Nestled along the Niagara Escarpment and lining the shores of Georgian Bay, visitors to Blue Mountain will find endless opportunities to commune with nature - on hundreds of kilometers of trails, beautiful scenic drives and panoromic views and vistas.
The deep blue and turquoise waters of Georgian Bay will beckon you to swim, windsurf or go kayaking and snorkeling.  Boating, sailing and fishing is also a popular activities spring, summer and fall.
The Bruce Trail and many side trails run through the Blue Mountains and make for excellent hiking, biking, birding and nature photography.
Thanks to the mild climate and long days of sun, golf enthusiasts can indulge in a long season of play on some of the most scenic fairways in Ontario.
In winter, strap on some snowshoes or cross-country skis and take to the trails in a whole new way.  There's always plenty of snow in the higher elevations of the Blue Mountains.  Snowmobile clubs in the region also keep OFSC Trails in top shape.
And of course downhill skiing and snowboarding at Ontario's largest ski resort, Blue Mountain, followed by apres-ski nightlife and entertainment make the winter outdoors friendly, fun-filled and exciting.
